Make a key

1. As the Owner or a Store manager, open Settings, then Website and API, for the store.
2. Choose Create key.
3. Choose the website it is For, or Add a website….
4. Choose the Type: Live for your site, or Test (localhost only) while you build.
5. Copy Your new key and choose Done. You can see it again later.

Limit it to your websites

Under Allowed websites, list every address that shows your services, for example with and without “www”. Choose Add website to add one and Remove to take one off. Keys and the widget work only on these sites.

Rotate it

1. Make a new key for the same website.
2. Put the new key on your site and check the page.
3. Revoke the old key.

Revoke it

Under Keys, choose Revoke next to the key. It stops working. The list shows each key’s website, who made it and when, and how much it was used today.
